Important Note :- App works well in Oreo and Nougat. But for users above Marshmallow(Android 6), you need to open app once and give access to requested
permissions for this app to work. App will not announce alerts without access to incoming call, contacts and incoming sms.

Caller Name Talker will read out incoming caller name, SMS sender name and battery low alerts for you. Not just that, Caller Name Talker can read Gmail,
WhatsApp, imo, WeChat, LINE and Telegraph app alerts too. Now there is no need to search for your phone when you are driving or busy doing something away
from phone. Caller Name Talker can even read entire message for you. You can control app using voice command as well. The application can be customized based on the user requirements.

How to Use?

Below is the step by step guideance to use caller name talker (android app).

Installation

1. Download caller name talker from PATF.PK

After installation open it and allow all the permissions.

Layout

you will find following on the main screen of caller name talker.
1. title “caller name talker” on the top center of screen.
2. More options button on the top right of screen.
3. A grid with 2 columns and 4 rows with the options

General Settings

Open the Caller Name Talker from the home screen of your device.
Move on to “general settings” by swiping left to right and double tap to open.
You will find different options here. These are default settings but you can change these if required.
Move through the settings by swipe left to right or right to left according to need. When you want to check/uncheck or select an option simplly perform double tap on it.
all the settings described below.
1. Alert Caller Name in Silent Mode:
by default this option is not checked which means caller talker will be disabled in silent mode.
If you want to set to caller talker will work in silent mode then check this option.
2. Alert Names in Contacts Only:
This option is not checked by default which means upon incoming call caller name talker announce every number even it is not saved in your contacts.
If you want to caller name talker only announce names from your contacts then check this option.
3. Select Name Type:
This is a dropdown menu in wich display name=default, selected by default.
If you want to change it then double tap on it to open then choose required option by swipeing left to right and double tap on it to select.
4. Specify name to unknown number:
No name define by default which means announce number when incoming call from unknown number.
If you want to set any name for incoming calls from unknown numbers then double tap on this option. then double touch on edit box. Then type required name and double tap on ok button.
5. Lower ringtone volume:
This option is not checked by default which means ringtone volume not decrease while caller name talker announceing number or name.
If you want to decrease ringtone volume while caller name or number announced upon incoming call then check this option.
6. customize talker volume:
This option is not checked by default which means caller name talker will used current ringtone volume.
If you want to change talker volume then check this option. Then swipe on next option
which is “Talker volume” enable to customize talker volume. Double tap on this option to open it. then move on to slider which is 50 percent. double tap on it then use volume up and down key to adjust level. then tap on ok button.
7. Play alerts only when headphone is connected:
This option is not checked by default.
If you want to caller talker only announce number/names only when head phones cconnected then check this option.
8. Schedule no alerts:
This option is not checked by default, which means caller name talker always announce name/number when someone calls you.
If you want to set a time in which caller name talker don’t announced any number/name then check this option.
When you check it a new screen shows with start time settings.
Choose here start time then tap on ok.
now next screen show with end time. choose end time here and tap on ok.
9. Play alerts during call waiting:
this option is not checked by default which means caller talker not announced number/name during call waiting.
if you want to enable this option then check it.
10. Reset to defaults:
Tap on this option if you want to reset default settings.
Hit back if you done required settings.

Call Alert Settings

Open Caller name talker from home screen. Then move on to “call alert settings” option and double tap to open it.
New screen will open with following settings.
1. Enable Call Alert:
This option is checked by default which means caller talker will announce the name/number of incoming calls.
If you uncheck this option then incoming calls will not announced.
2. Anitial Time Delay:
This option means that you can set anitial time delay before caller name announced upon incoming call.
Default time is set to 2 seconds. If you want to change it then double tap on this option to open it.
Now double tap on edit box and type required number from the keyboard. Then double tap on OK button.
3. Repeat Count:
This option means how many time a caller name announced upon incoming call.
The default value of this option is 3 seconds.
You can change it to your desire time.
Double tap on this option to open it.
Now double tap on edit box and type required number from the keyboard.
Then double tap on ok button.
4. Alert Repeat Time Interval:
This option means how much delay between announceing name.
The default value for this option is 2 second.
If you want to change it then double tap on this option to open it.
Then double tap on edit box and type required number from keyboard.
then double tap on ok button.
5. Shake to stop caller name:
This option is not checked by default.
If you want to stop caller name talker while announceing name/number when you shake phone.
Then check this option.
6. Message to play before caller name:
If you want to add a message to play before caller name upon incoming calls then use this option.
Double tap on this option then swipe to find edit box.
double tap on edit box then type your message and tap on ok button.
7. Following Message After Caller Name:
If you want to add a message to play after caller name upon incoming calls then use this option.
Double tap on this option then swipe to find edit box.
double tap on edit box then type your message and tap on ok button.
note: by default this message is set to “calling”
8. Reset to default:
If you want to reset all settings to default then double tap on this option.

SMS Alert Settings

This group of settings is about SMS alerts. You can set following options here.
1. Enable sms alert:
This option is checked by default which means caller name talker will announce the sender name when new message arived.
If you don’t want to use this feature then uncheck this option.
2. Initial Time Delay:
This option is used to set time delay before announceing the sender name upon receiving new sms.
The default time is 0 second. If you want to change it then double tap on this option.
Then swipe to find edit box and double tap on it.
Now type required number and tap on ok button.
3. Read sms content:
This option is check by default which means that caller name talker automatically read sms content.
If you don’t want to use this feature then uncheck this option.
4. If Prompted say yes to read sms:
This option is unchecked and disable by default.
If you want to use this feature then first check “read sms content” option then check “if prompted say yes”.
5. Message before sender name:
This option used to add any message that you want to play before the sender name upon sms receiving.
If you want to add this then double tap on this option then swipe to find edit box and double tap on it.
Now type your required message and tap on ok button.
6. Message after sender name:
This option used to add any message that you want to play after the sender name upon sms receiving.
If you want to add this then double tap on this option then swipe to find edit box and double tap on it.
Now type your required message and tap on ok button.
7. Reset to Default:
double tap on this option if you want to reset all the settings about sms alerts.

Other Alerts

Other alerts group contains following settings.
1. Battery Alerts:
If you want to set caller name talker announce battery alerts then double tap on this option to open it.
Then swipe to find edet box and tap on it.
Now type alert message and hit ok button.
Now swipe right to find the on/off switch of battery alerts.
Tap on it to on/off.
2. Other alerts:
this checkbox is unchecked by default. If you want to enable other alerts then check it.
Below this option you will find many check boxes of different applications which are not checked by default.
If you want to alerts from these applications then check these checkboxes.

Voice Settings

This group is about voice settings of caller name talker.
you will find following option in this group.
1. Set TTS Engion:
If you want to change tts engion then swipe to find set tts engion drop down menu.
Double tap on it to open then swipe to find required tts engion.
double tap on it to select it.
2. Change Language:
This is also a drop down menu where you can choose your desire language for caller name talker.
if you want to change language then open this drop down and find required language then tap on it to select.
Below these settings you find seek sliders for speed, pich,
if you want to change then tap on these sliders then use volume up and down key to adjust.
If you want to check then tap on
test voice button at the bottom right of screen.
